Coomera is one of the fastest growing regions in Queensland. The Queensland Government has announced it will invest $1.3 billion to build the Coomera Public Hospital, a 400 bed facility to be located directly opposite the Coomera Health Campus.

Coomera Health Campus is a strategically masterplanned health precinct be developed in multiple stages across a 2ha site on the Gold Coast. The site sits directly opposite a major greenfield public hospital and near Westfield Coomera, Coomera Railway Station, and TAFE Queensland’s Coomera Campus.

Stage 1 comprises a 5,000m2 ambulatory care facility including day surgery, imaging, pathology, pharmacy, allied health and specialist consulting suites. Stage 2 is proposed to deliver a 60-bed mental health facility. Future stages are currently under masterplan design but are envisaged to include a private overnight hospital. The building will offer a total Net Lettable Area of approximately 6,568m2, with front and rear entrances accessed from at-grade car parking around the perimeter of the building for approximately 256 vehicles.

Development Application has been achieved for stage 1 and lodged for stage 2 with the Gold Coast City Council.
