Kawarau Park Health Hub

The Kawarau Health Health Hub is a purpose built, multi building specialist medical hub located in Queenstown, jointly owned by Vital and a property syndicate managed by Mackersy Property Limited following the sale of a 50% interest in the asset.

At the centre of the precinct is an acute care hospital, operated as a joint venture between Southern Cross and the Central Lakes Trust. The hospital includes three operating theatres and 13 inpatient beds.

Complementing the hospital are key tenants such as The Doctors Whakatipu, Pacific Radiology, Unichem Pharmacy, eight specialist consulting suites, a childcare centre, a convenience store, and an on-site café/restaurant. Together, these uses create an integrated healthcare and community precinct providing high-quality services to the local population and position the precinct as a leading healthcare destination for the wider region.

Under the co ownership structure, Mackersy Property Limited provides property and asset management services for the non health related tenancies, comprising approximately 35% of the net lettable area, leveraging its local specialist expertise. Vital continues to manage the health related tenancies, which represent approximately 65% of the precinct’s net lettable area.
