Maitland Hospital
175 Chisholm Rd, East Maitland NSW 2323The Maitland Hospital expansion includes the construction of 24 new Mental Health beds (total 68 on completion), 12 new day oncology chairs (increasing capacity from 7 to 12), 4 additional surgical beds and 6 new consulting suites. The expansion will occur above the existing Mental Health ward with the building previously future proofed to accommodate these plans. An additional 34 car spaces will also be built by expanding the existing elevated car parking.
